A truly riveting piece of animation the details the great facets of an infomercial personality that will be dearly missed. Do not let yourself be offended by something that is clearly coming from the heart of the creator. It's sympathy viewed through the lens of objectivity and it's wonderful.

I liked it. Certain ones stopped me for a bit. Like 16, 23, and 27. All the puzzles were clever and it was a good game. Glad to finally beat it and I feel accomplished.

"Potentially good"

This was an interesting entry, I liked the concept of this and seeing what you had to work with you were going in the right direction. The only problem is that your execution faltered pretty greatly and you could have spent mroe time on working out the little necessities.

You're doing good so far, you've captured the feel of Earthbound and added a serious tone to it, which is what you were trying to do. You just didn't apply enough of what you needed to make it seem like a serious plot. A few things that give it these problems are the dialogue and choppiness, also the spriting which is pretty bad.

All I really think you need to do is take time and don't rush yourself. These could be good if you did that, also try to implement som better dialogue, that would be helpful. We need more people attempting to do serious/darker flash's, I'm glad at the attempt, just not the execution.

"Below expectations"

I would just like to state before I get on to my review that this is not what I was expecting. When I had heard that this flash had been inspired by "Mario Bros." series of flash, I was elated at hopefully another great serious/darker toned flash, but alas I am met with this.

To put it bluntly, my most powerful of quims with the Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom flash series is that it fails to take it's self truly seriously and relies heavily on it's violence /action sequences for it's 'darker' tone. Conceptually, this plot had potential but really it jsut seemed to be some violent flash with random 'teary' moments thrown in.

This is what got me the most. I know it's unfair to compare this to the "Mario Bros." films, but I was really expecting more. I wasn't expecting a nice concept with greedy violence and random moments of shoddy humor that really took away from the potentially darker/serious voertones I was expecting.

While part III threw in a nice twist with the time thing, and a few moments were catching, the film series overall is lacking. More work should have been put into the storytelling aspect and not the grey scenes of Yoshi's eating people.

So my overall feeling towards this series is: It had potential but failed to tap into it and use it correctly.

"Perfection"

In essence, this is a review not just for this Part, but for the whole series, this way I don't have to go through and review each part and get everything out of the way in one shot.

First off, I would just like to tell you that this possibly, and more than likely, the best flash series I have ever witnessed and that it's hard for me to find any flaws, if there even are any, in this series.

This series is conceptually genius, well-put together, and some of the best spriting I have ever seen done in a flash. One of my favorite parts is the significant tie-in inbetween the beginning and the end. Well done.

Another thing I would like to compliment you on is the music. Each individual song is impeccably placed and perfectly aligned with the what is going on, and is perhaps one of the best things about your flash. The music helps really set the tone and keeps it going at a well-designed pace that I enjoy.

TO be honest, I enjoyed every part of this series and I can watch them quite a few tiems and still enjoy them. You have placed yoruself high on my list and I look forward to any of your creations if they are as serious and evoking as this series.

Truly, this is a splendid series.
